Crossref Verification Service

Verify a journal ISSN directly against Crossref's public REST API. The service checks registered works, journal metadata, DOI-member evidence and DOI-prefix evidence.

Exact ISSN verification only. A zero-work result means Crossref returned zero works for that exact ISSN at verification time. It does not by itself prove that the publisher is eligible or that another ISSN/version is absent.
Enter an ISSN above to begin a live Crossref verification.
